The weekend of Jan 29-30 (2011) is a big “extraction action” weekend with the Artificial Reef Society of BC.
For Saturday Jan 29, we are taking volunteers to the Annapolis to help extract metals etc for the day. If you haven’t been there yet, this is a chance to see this magnificent ship before it she sinks to her final resting place in Howe Sound, and transforms into a beautiful reef!
For Sunday, we are doing a 2-tank dive. Last weekend the Pacific white-sided dolphins were out again just past Boyer Island! No promises of course! But on top of that conditions have been steller! We will drop some volunteers at the Annapolis first, then do our dives, pick up the volunteers, and return to the dock.
Both days begin at 8am this weekend! Call 604-329-3486 or e-mail to dive Sunday, volunteer on the Annapolis Saturday, or both!
