Dragon Dive Report – April 4th

Your weekly DRAGON DIVE REPORT for March 25th to April 3rd, 2016

Okanagan Dive Club

Sunday’s dive group enjoying a few bevies after their wicked weekend of diving!

“This weekend was an example of BC Spring Weather. Howe Sound had bright blue skies, calm seas, and warm temperatures. The Okanagan Dive Club spent the entire weekend diving with us! Their mission was to experience the Annapolis, local walls, and pinnacles. Dives included Dragon’s Den, Annapolis, Halkett Wall, and the Pinnacle. Awesome diving was reported. The visibility reports varied from 5′-30′ plus depending on locations. The best being Gambier Walls. Other divers joined this group and all were from the lower mainland. Derek and Bryan, brothers and wanting to get back into Northern diving renewed their acquaintance with the Pacific Northwest. They had just completed a refresher with a local dive shop and our DM’s were very impressed with their diving abilities. We hope to see them become a part of the local diving scene. They now want dry suits – so dive stores keep an eye out for this dynamic duo. We also have the always fun Mauve, Roz, John, Nelson, Emma, and Lee. We look forward to the next trip and group of old and new friends joining the adventure.” – Captain Kevin
